Low cement refractory castable is a common castable of different materials in refractory castable. So what is the use of low cement castable?
Low cement refractory castable refers to the cement content is relatively low castable, cement content is generally 5%-7%, cement content below 1% is called ultra-low cement castable. Our company produces ultra-low cement corundum mullite castable, mainly using high-quality corundum (or high bauxite), α-Al2O3 powder, cement and other raw materials, plus a certain proportion of the binder mixing. Suitable for cement kiln front and back, kiln door cover, cooling machine and other industrial kiln lining.
Part of the calcium aluminate cement was replaced by ultrafine powder (micro-powder). Therefore, low cement refractory castable has the following advantages:
1, the low CaO content in the injection material can reduce the formation of low eutectic phase in the material, thus improving the refractoriness, high temperature strength and slag erosion resistance;
2. The water consumption of castable during construction is only 1/3-1/2 of that of ordinary castable, so the porosity is low and the volume density is high;
3, after the casting molding, the cement compound generated in the curing is less, and there is no large amount of hydration bond damage during heating and baking, resulting in a decline in the strength of the medium temperature, but with the increase of the heat treatment temperature, the strength is gradually increased;
4. The strength composition of castable can be prepared into self-flowing castable and pump castable if appropriate adjustment is made.
Main types of low cement castables:
Low cement (Cao content 1%~2.5%)
Ultra-low cement (CaO 0.2-1%)
No cement (CaO≤0.2%)
The low here refers to the content of cement, low cement castable, ultra-low cement castable temperature than the same material of ordinary refractory castable temperature is higher, low cement castable for a variety of high temperature burner lining, heating furnace water cooling pipe dressing lining.
